Seabreeze Amusement Park, Rochester, CT Season One of Two

To Whom It May Concern:

During the summer of 1999 I had the pleasure of working with Hagerman as he oversaw and performed in Illusions At Large productions of ” Legends of Magic”. “Top Dogs” and Hagerman’s own production of “Extreme Science” at Seabreeze Park in Rochester. NY. Seabreeze is a traditional amusement park in a middle-size city in upstate NY. To perform the shows here, Hagerman and the shows’ producers Blake and Angela Walkers travelled from Branson. MO to set up shop in Rochester for the summer. Upon arrival at Seabreeze, Hagerman, an admitted perfectionist. was nothing but cordial, accommodating, completely professional and of all…nice. He continued to be that way for their entire stay here.

In regards to the performances, everyone at the park was very happy… both guests and management. The combination of science, magic and animal was one that was very well received and in-park surveys by guests rated the shows highly, but one look at the audiences could have told you that. It wasn’t unusual to overhear comments from the guests like, “the best show ever”, “Can l see it again. Dad?” or simply, “Wow!” Add in to that, strong attendance at all shows (very strong numbers for “Top Dogs”), with with a good percentage of each day’s guests seeing the shows…some several times. Plus, the crowds that swarm the stage at the end of the “Top Dogs” show to meet, greet and shake “paws” is something to see.

On a personal level, Hagerman, his crew and all the dogs were delightful to work with. The whole team proved to be dependable with all shows going off as scheduled. The cast performed each show with a high level of enthusiasm, tremendous interaction with the crowd and delivered an entertaining shows with a educational slant. All these elements make for a combination that’s hard to beat

For one final testimony about the strength of this show: I have two young daughters, 6 & 2, who,I suspect have seen the shows more than just about anyone else. The impression the performances has had on them is memorable to say the least. My daughters are only too happy to stage their own shows, repeating lines almost perfectly. Both girls are already looking forward to a return engagement. If you’re fortunate to have Hagerman working for you, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
